The film Malang, which slips from one moment full to the other, shows the right combination of thrill and romance. The pair of Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patani are stunning on the silver screen and Anil Kapoor is in his full form. For the first time, it has happened in a film by Mohit Suri that almost every character has a dark side.

Two different stories run together - one current and one old. The conversation started with a meeting of two strangers ie Advaita (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Sara (Disha Patani) in Goa. One meeting changes into another, the other turns into a third and the love between the two deepens with these meetings. Now there is love in a Bollywood film, so there are hurdles, there are many reasons… So she comes.

This is a story of an old story. At the same time, in the new story we meet a new Advaita, who is committing murders one after the other. Two police officers are trying to catch him ie Anjani Agashe (Anil Kapoor) and Michael (Kunal Khemu). Anjani is an officer who believes in encountering criminals rather than punishing them through legal process. Michael's image is of a decent police officer. There comes a time in the film when the strings of these four lives get interconnected. Ellie Ebaram is also in a special role in the film. Shad Randhawa, who has appeared in films like Mohit Suri's 'Aashiqui 2' and 'Ek Villain', is also in this film.

The hard work that Aditya Roy Kapoor has put on the body building for this film is clearly visible. He has also done acting well. Disha Patani looked glamorous, she was average in acting. Anil Kapoor is the most interesting character. In one scene, he is questioning an African drug dealer who says he does not know Hindi and can only speak in English. After spending a few moments with Anil, he starts speaking Dhandandhar Marathi.

Some of the dialogues of the film are extremely interesting. Although its story has been shown in many films, but a good script thickens its effect.

There are also some unsavory things in the film that make it dramatic and light. Most of these belong to the later part of the interval. The end of the film is startling, but it also reduces the impact of the film.

The film is largely made keeping in mind the audience of single screen cinemas. Those who like masala entertainment movies will like this film.
